SOUEAST marked a new chapter in its global layout with the successful debut of the first-ever SOUEAST Global EASE DAY 2025.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said that "tariff wars, trade wars and sci-tech wars go against the trend of history and the laws of economics, and there will be no winners." Recently, the US has imposed so-called "reciprocal tariffs," provoking a trade war, seriously undermining the international economic and trade order and bringing significant negative impacts to the global economy.
President Xi Jinping, when meeting with representatives of the international business community, emphasized: "Multilateralism is the only choice for addressing global challenges, and economic globalization is an unstoppable trend of history. China upholds true multilateralism, promotes universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, actively participates in global economic governance, and is committed to building an open world economy."
